Hey! It’s been a long time since my last post and I’ve missed you, guys so much! Today I thought I’d pop up and show you how to make 3 air dry clay projects that I stumbled upon on Pinterest and I thought I should give it a try! Air dry clay is a very popular material in the DIY home decor world these days and with a fraction of a cost, you can make incredible decor pieces!
Well, are you ready? Let’s get started!

Supplies
- Clay
- Acrylic Paint
- Sandpaper (220 grit)
- paintbrush
- knife
- x-cto knife
This is the exact clay I’m using, and I’m very pleased with how easy it is to work with it and mold it. It adheres to supports of any kind and can be used with other materials.
1. Decorative Chain
This is a very fun and easy project! You can style it on top of books, on a tray, on a coffee table, on a shelf…pretty much anywhere you want to bring a vivid touch to your decor.
2. Taper Candle Holder
I see this taper candle holder so often on Pinterest, I thought I should give it a try. In fact, arched decor pieces are very trendy these days, so why not? I love how it turned out and I will definitely make another type of candleholders with air dry clay.
3. Decorative Knot
This is my favorite project of all three! I love the fact that something so easy and simple to make can be an additional decorative element to your existing home decor.
If you want to recreate any of these projects, you can watch my video below for a detailed tutorial!
I hope these pieces inspired you to make your own! If you do, please share them on Instagram. I love to see your recreations!
Lot’s of love
